A little bit more info…

A little bit about me!
I hand make everything to order- currently working at 3-4 weeks although due to my day job (teacher) this is often faster in the school holidays! I live in Derbyshire with my husband, daughter and pets. I started sewing because I love fun fabric and I love making exciting things for people! It’s always exciting to post my creations out. I use U.K. based fabric suppliers and buy quite a few custom prints- you can be sure of an unusual (if not unique) item! I’m happy to work with you to create something amazing, get in touch!

Washing instructions for garments

Step 1 Separate whites from coloured clothes. Wash whites and colors separately to ensure colour preservation. Step 2 Wash a load of either whites or colors in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Some people swear by using a colour catcher and washing at 40 on the first wash to ‘set the colour’ but this is personal choice. Use regular laundry detergent without bleach to wash the clothes. Step 3 Tumble dry the clothes on the delicate setting, or hang up to dry. If you are concerned about shrinkage, then tumble dry the items for a couple of minutes to get the wrinkles out, then hang them to finish drying. GENERAL INFO: Reshape your garments if you feel you need to and dry flat. Do not bleach or use harsh detergents! Avoid fire (in general but especially if wearing spun polyester which is a man made fibre and therefore is flammable). To get the longest life out of your garment I recommend line drying but I am a gremlin and I tumble all of mine and they are fine, haha- although limiting use of heat to dry will help leggings elasticity/will help them stay tight for longer!
